South Dakota State wasn’t the only football team with an off week last week - the Tampa Bay Bucs were idle, too, giving practice squad receiver Dale Moss an opportunity to return home to Sioux Falls to visit friends and family.

He also made some time for the media. The Brandon Valley and SDSU grad is this week’s guest on the Too Much TV podcast, taking you inside the NFL for a glimpse of life on the practice squad.

Too Much TV: Luke Meadows

Too Much TV is taking a road trip this week, visiting former South Dakota State associate head coach Luke Meadows in his new home at Florida Atlantic in sunny Boca Raton.

The Owls are 1-4 this season, which doesn’t sound great, but already matches their 2011 win total. And the schedule hasn’t exactly been accommodating with road games vs. Georgia and Alabama in consecutive weeks.

That’s one of the things we get in to: What’s that level of play like?

Actually, we don’t - but guest David Michaud does. He’s a former South Dakota State wrestler from Pine Ridge and one of 32 contestants on an upcoming MMA reality show on FX. The winner gets a six-figure contract with the UFC.
